The Ventil OPTIC 15 open face, flat lapping and polishing machine is the complete solution for high precision finishing of safety valve seats, nozzles and mechanical seals. The bench top machine can be used to reach a flatness accuracy within 3 light bands ensuring the best seat tightness of all metal sealing faces. It is equipped with simple to operate; activation timer and an automatic liquid diamond and lubricate steering and dispensing system. The OPTIC 15 lapping machine has a 15″ / 380 mm lapping plate, standard material: Copper composite (others available on request). The 3 conditioning rings have a inner diameter of 5.5″ / 140 mm for lapping workpiece with a maximum diameter of 5″ / 125 mm (larger machines are standard available). The OPTIC is optionally completed with a optical flat and monochromatic light for checking and measuring the results.
