Our Self-Amalgamating Tape is a manufactured from a Ethylene Propylene Rubber and amalgamates to itself when applied under tension. Our Self-Amalgamating tape has a temperature range of 90°C and a tensile strength of 4.73Mpa. EPR Self-Amalgamating Tape can elongate above 600% and is perfect for waterproofing and corrosion protection. Our Self Amalgamating Tape is UV, moisture and chemical resistant. Self-amalgamating tape is commonly used to help seal, repair, or protect hoses, pipes, and cables. It is heavily used on electrical joints, often in outdoor applications to protect against weather. It can also be used to repair holes and leaks in hoses and pipes. It is often applied to moisture sealing joints for insulation purposes or used to seal splices and connections in electrical cables with high voltages. Self-amalgamating tape has been used to provide more grip to bike handles, tennis rackets, walking sticks and tools. We stock this Gaffer Tape in 19mm and 25mm widths in roll lengths of 5 or 10 metres. Our Self Amalgamating tape is available in Black.
