The well-matched engine, transmission, and drive –characterized by twin counter-rotating propellers – create a smooth experience on the water. The durable engine was built with a rigid cast iron cylinder block and cylinder head, contributing to reliability and long-term durability. The entire package is integrated from helm to prop through the Electronic Vessel Control (EVC), with optional add-on features such as Glass Cockpit, cruise control, and more. Enhanced Comfort, Reliability and Durability To deliver lOOOhp on demand, the D13 engine and IPS30 pod are designed and built to withstand significant forces. Upgraded pistons, camshafts, injectors, and cooling Systems contribute to a compact, durable, and efficient package that is designed for easy installation and maintenance. An ideal match for yachts As the most powerful package in the IPS range, the D13-IPS1350 is idéal for yachts 60-120ft. The D13- IPS1350SD version is specifically designed to power larger, semi-displacement yachts. The torque curve has been modified to handle higher thrust loads at slower speeds. The D13-IPS1350SD also has a wider speed range down to 19 knots.
