The D8-IPS is available in 600, 650, & 700 versions for Commercial applications and 700 & 800 versions for leisure. Working together with a perfectly matched IPS15 pod, twincounter-rotating propellers and the Electronic Vessel Control system, this package offers excellent maneuverability, long action range and low emissions. Steerable pods provide convenient slow-speed maneuverability and great high-speed handling. Docking is simplified, even in confined spaces. The enhanced maneuverability also supports an efficient driver response - which can increase safety on board. This optimized, integrated engine and pod System with a turbo provides enhanced performance and improved maneuverability throughout the operating range. By working in undisturbed water, the forward-facing propellers improve the performance even more. The engine and pod System is designed for reduced noise and an enhanced onboard environment. A combined rubber suspension and seal help absorb propulsion forces and vibrations, and ail exhaust fumes are emitted through the pods and into the prop wash to enhance comfort.
