PresentationSEPCOM Pulp and Paper Horizontal is a horizontal screw press separator engineered for solids‑liquid separation in pulp, paper and related industrial streams. Key construction elements include a compensator hopper, self‑adjusting counter‑pressure diaphragm and a cylindrical self‑cleaning screen; modular screw options allow adaptation to different materials and wear conditions.
FunctionThe unit operates by combined gravity drainage and mechanical compression. A feed section with compensator tank and overflow hopper supplies the stainless steel casing that houses a screw conveyor and cylindrical screen basket. Liquids pass through the screen while solids are conveyed and compacted toward the diaphragm outlet where a material plug forms, enabling automatic discharge and preventing liquid carry‑over. Drive is provided by an electric motor and gear reducer with splined output shaft directly coupled to the screw.
