CHIOR HPD is an externally driven horizontal shredding pump designed for the transfer and shredding of biogas digestate, livestock manure and industrial effluents. It is a horizontal-axis centrifugal pump with an electric motor coupled to a single-stage channel impeller and an innovative chopping system integrating a helicoid conveyor and cutting knives. The unit is engineered to transport water, sewage and liquids containing suspended solids or fibrous elements and to effectively shred tough filamentous material for continuous operation in demanding conditions.

Function
The HPD transfers and shreds materials using a helicoid conveyor, fixed knives and a channel impeller. Its cutting assembly performs multiple cuts per rotation to ensure thorough shredding, prevent clogging and maintain continuous flow.
