OverviewThe YUNYI XY-4002 sphygmomanometer calibrator is a bench instrument designed for metrological verification of blood pressure devices in accordance with JJG270-2008 and JJG692-2010. It integrates microprocessor control, dedicated pneumatic components and an internal micro air pump to provide precise static pressure references and dynamic blood pressure simulation for both mercury and electronic sphygmomanometers.
Main Capabilities- Dynamic blood pressure waveform simulation and static pressure calibration
- Automatic leak testing and over‑pressure release detection
- Automatic pressure generation with internal micro pump and onboard air reservoir
- Adult and neonatal simulation modes
- Touchscreen LCD for test setup and result display
Main Components- Power supply module
- Micro air pump
- Simulated piston/cylinder assembly
- Servo motor
- Air reservoir
- Reference pressure sensor
- Main electronic control board
- Air release/adjustment valve
- Touchscreen LCD
Operation Sequence- The internal micro air pump generates pressure and stores it in the air reservoir.
- The air release valve adjusts pressure precisely to each verification point.
- For a mercury or electronic sphygmomanometer under test, the operator records the indicated values and computes indication error at each point.
- Other regulated test items are executed automatically by the instrument; results are calculated and shown on the display for recording.

Included Accessories (Typical)- XY-4002 main unit
- Power cord
- Connecting hoses and adapters (compatible with common cuffs and monitors)
- Operating manual (Chinese/English)
- Factory calibration certificate
Operation & Safety NotesBefore Use- Place the instrument on a stable, level surface, away from drafts and vibration.
- Verify ambient conditions: 15–35 °C, humidity <80% RH.
- Connect to the correct mains voltage as marked on the device.
- Allow warm‑up time per the manual.
During Use- Use clean, dry, non‑corrosive gas if external gas is required; device normally generates its own pressure.
- Do not exceed the maximum rated pressure (60 kPa / 450 mmHg) on external connections.
- Ensure correct connection and configuration of the device under test for dynamic simulations.
- Follow standard verification procedures for each test item.
After Use- Turn off power and disconnect from mains.
- Release residual pressure via the air release valve.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth; do not use solvents or immerse the unit.
- Store in a dry, clean place within the specified temperature range.
Calibration & Maintenance- Recalibrate the XY-4002 periodically per local metrology regulations (typically annually).
- No user‑serviceable internal parts; refer repairs to qualified service personnel.
