Specifically for the use at bad illumined professional workstations in a rough environment the data input specialist GETT® provides the professional keyboard TKF-085a-BACKL. The particular feature of this keyboard is the back lightened operating surface. Whether on the pontoon bridge during the nocturnal vigil, whether during nightly manoeuvres under prescribed lighting conditions or in the gloaming below ground – with its active lighting the keyboard guarantees unrestricted usability even under critical lighting conditions.
The back lighting is guaranteed by a 16-level-dimmer which can be controlled directly and comfortably by keys. The lighting technology is based on LED/fibre optics which allows a high durability as well as low current consumption. No external power supply suppliers is needed as this is done over the interface of the PC.
The standard model is delivered in a black plastic housing. The entering keys will be back lighted in green, the controlling and functional keys in blue and the cursor- or dimm-keys in yellow. As this keyboard is equipped with the protection grade IP 65 it can be used unproblematic in rough environments with impacts of dust and spray water. Due to the completely closed housing the keyboard is universally applicable and fulfils several conditions.
