Choose Carborundum bonded abrasive cylindrical wheels for grinding cylindrical components between centers. Available in GA aluminum oxide and GRA blended aluminum oxide formulations.
Centerless grinding wheels and rubber bond regulating feed wheels are used in thru-feed or plunge grinding applications. Use the DAC aluminum oxide and silicon carbide blend in a resinoid bond system for stock removal, long irregular parts and faster throughfeed grinding. Bear-Tex Polybond wheels are manufactured by bonding abrasive grain into a foamed polyurethane matrix, similar to bonded grinding wheels, yet flexible and conformable. Polybond wheels are available in metal conditioning and wood finishing formulations.
