Electromechanical NC joining systems systems offer significantly more advantages than hydraulic presses. NC drive control allows accurate positioning or force-controlled joining and force-displacement evaluation in both the compression and the tension direction. The new generation of NC joining modules is outstanding for its extremely compact design with integral piezoelectric sensor.

The electro mechanical assembly units of the PREFERENCE SERIES are available in a large selection of force ranges and nominal strokes. Due to their modular construction, the units can be integrated in automated assembly lines as well as in manual work-places. A special synchronous belt connects the motor directly with ball/roller gear drive and guarantees a positioning accuracy of 0.01 mm. The angled motor favours a low installation height. This is of high importance if the unit has to be installed under a conveyor belt or a transfer system.

Like the punches we also offer the dies according to the european standard specifications. Therefore we offer our standard dies with the external diameters 22,0mm, 24,0mm, 30,16mm and 38,10mm. In order to satisfy the wishes of all our customers, we also produce special dies, fitting for example in older tablet presses or being used for special products, such as washing tablets.
To meet the demands of all our customers we use different materials for our dies and offer a numerous spectrum of materials, such as ceramics, stainless steel or hard metal. We also offer dies with different coatings, for example TIN–coating. The coatings increase the hardness of the dies and are ideal for the pressing of abrasive products.

Long experience in producing Rolls for Hot Rolling
More then 200,000 cemented carbide rolls have been produced by Sandvik Hard Materials since 1965. The cast-in-carbide (CIC) concept takes this material a step further, as demonstrated in hot rolling mills all over the world.
Sandvik’s CIC technology offers new opportunities for rolling mill managers to improve product quality, reduce down-time and increase productivity.
Containing an optimised combination of cemented carbide and ductile iron, Sandvik CIC rolls combine excellent passform wear resistance with high strengt and toughness in the roll body.
The composite design of CIC rolls means that the carbide performs the rolling, while torque transmission is handled by the ductile cast iron.

Roll tooling is crucial to each profile machine. The success or failure of every rollforming machine depends on the quality of the rollforming tools. That is why we always pay such careful consideration to them right from the start when advising our customers. Our technicians offer their support as from the development stages. The customers are advised on the suitability of materials. The producibility of profile shapes is verified and the required tolerances are checked. Complex profile shapes and exacting tolerances are our specialty. All this has not happened by chance.
All of our specialists had to undergo a lengthy training period before they were allowed to work on their first project. Something else that distinguishes us from the others is that DREISTERN roll tooling is tested and ready for production upon delivery. The fact that we have our own testing machines is to your advantage: You can already produce while others are still experimenting.

Transfer SpeedFeeder has been developed especially for automatization of presses with multi-tool sets. Easy to operate with a hand-held terminal and AP&T's software LOGOS. Very high stiffness is reached with parallel motion of motors, this gives possibility to use high accelerations during clamping and lift motion.

Transfer systems for the transport of parts with the help of gripper rails in the complete sector of non-cutting shaping.Our transfer systems combine both the individual tools of a transfer press, as well as linking individual presses.
In accordance with the existing technical capabilities and customer needs are different sizes and variants feasible.
The equipment are based on our approved mechanical subgroups and a modern control and drive technique. The control control systems are preferably equipped with integrated Siemens components. By request are other control units available, for example by Allen Bradley.
Our transfer systems are fee-programmable which means that the positions and the displacement courses of the gripper rails (closing, lifting and transport) can be determined by the program within the limits of the technical data. According to the application or the specification the individual servodrives are synchronised either to each other or to the press run.

The system holds three half-moulds that allow for simultaneous operations in masked times, like loading and unloading on one side while moulding on the other.
This series offers a wide range of mould area sizes, from 925x725 to 1200x1600 mm. The PMT supports multiple optional accessories and automation for loading (films, inserts...) and unloading of the processed items.

The Leanmaster, the economic solution for filling tablet containers, was designed to permit the integration of various functions such as deburring and de-dusting, metal detection and in-process control. The tablets are discharged into their containers by vertically and horizontally pivoting conveyor belts. The fully automatic discharge can use up to 99 containers, which can, for instance, allow fast and easy removal on pallets. The Leanmaster is operated through the familiar user interface at the press terminal.
