MORA rotary tables are precision fabricated and feature a robust cast-steel structure (lower section: Grey cast iron, upper section: spheroidal-graphite cast iron)
All versions also guarantee easy quick and fine adjustment, even under great loads, and locking in any position required. Eight 45° indexes are provided as standard. Scanning: Analogous to the measuring rule and Vernier gauge or digital electrical display

UNION rotary, traversing, and tilting tables are predominantly suitable for use on floor-type boring mills and/or traveling-column machines. However, they can also be operated separately with self-contained controller and self-contained operator console. The PDV 10 with a machining torque of 12.5 kNm ensures turning operations on large cylindrical parts in association with traveling-column machines and suitable turning tool adapters. So, supplementary turning operations can be performed.

The extremely rigid connection between motor and load, and a servo-drive regulation ensures excellent acceleration capabilities and good uniformity of movement. HIWIN rotary tables and torque motors are especially well suited for tasks in automation thanks to the hollow shaft model. The TRT series.
The TRT (Turning Rotary Table) series is designed for vertical lathes and gantry type machines for milling and boring. Within the range, the design can be adapted according to each application and can be delivered either as an integrated axis, stand alone variation or as a sliding unit. For positioning and milling, an excellent quality of control is reached through the master-slave configuration. Also available are linear axes specially constructed and perfectly adapted to individual applications.

The base table of the Peiseler satellite systems is a non-lifting Hirth coupling table with the housing size of up to 1,600 mm and table top up to 3,500 mm in diameter. The case hardened Hirth coupling is precision ground in one set-up. The satellites are available as Hirth coupling indexers, NC rotary units with backlash adjustable split worm drive or direct drive. Hydraulic fluid is supplied to the satellites and fixtures through controlled manifolds, or by couplings that can be connected and disconnected under pressure. The high quality Meehanite-casting, distortion free axis clamping, manifolds with hardened steel shaft running in bronze bushings, as well as the appropriate selection from several types of high grade bearings, assures the highest possible precision. Diverse gear ratios or gear reducers allow for the optimal adaptation to any load condition. The robust design enables simultaneous four axis machining even under heavy machining load. Special face plates, pallet-receivers, collets, and large through holes are available or can be designed to meet customer requirements.

Tilting tables
Transfer of molten aluminium from the Potroom crucibles in to the furnaces can be carried out in several different methods one of the most common is a crucible tilt machine station.
Fives Solios offers to the client such systems to optimise safety around the cast house furnace.
The main advantages with using this type of machine is that once the crucible has been located on the station the operator can remotely instigate the tilt operation; the tilt mechanism can then move the crucible through a pre programmed tilt action with a hydraulic proportional valve, the crucible will empty the molten aluminium into the furnace at a controlled safe rate. This eliminates operator intervention and metal spillage thus adding a safe environment in the casthouse for a potentially dangerous process.
