Our NC press-bra¬kes offer slide stopping precision of about 1/100th of a millimetre. To achieve such accuracy, we use high-definition sensors fit-ted on either side of the slide. Their reading head is mode integral with the lower table by means of a C.
A microprocessor analyses the data and contrats the servovalves on the basis of the computer output. The System makes I t possi¬ble to eliminate the main difficulties of ben-ding in the air by maintaining the parallel alignment of the slide and ensuring precise stopping whatever the resistance load.

This guarantees a very good bending precision, since the structure has no torsion stress because machine is not equipped with torsion bar.

The 12.35 is the first intelligent swaging system that actually "learns" as you swage and flange. When you’re ready to machine your first workpiece in a job, just press the “Auto-Teach” function. The 12.35’s memorizes when, and how, you set the upper wheel. Then, when you insert the second workpiece in the job sequence, the system automatically “clones” the entire operation. Your operator only has to lead the workpiece, and regulate the variable speed via the footswitch.
When a bead has to end before the sheet edge the 12.35 can remember that position, and then program itself to reduce the speed before reaching the end of the bead. It will then change the rotation and accelerate the wheels in the opposite direction.
The oversized stop plate is made of a high-tensile material. It’s ground, and plasma-nitride treated, front side meets even the most stringent guidelines, and the standard stop is divided, so it can be used for nearly all wheels.
The RAS 12.35 is designed for material thicknesses up to 1.75 mm and offers a working depth of 250 mm. Operation is easy due to the flat surface operation panel and the digital display, which shows the actual upper wheel position at any time.

All models of Comac double pinch style profile bending machine can be equipped with electronic automatic control systems to improve accuracy and consistency of jobs and enhance the rate of automation.
These controls are simple 2-axis programmable positioning devices, or CNC controls.
Programmable positioning devices are useful to join straight parts to bent parts and to perform multiple-passes jobs in a more consistent sequence of operations.
CNC controls are required to accomplish multi-radius curves to be produced in medium-large batches with high consistency and excellent quality of transitions between the different radii, even with difficult materials such as thin-wall tubes.
This can be achieved by controlling simultaneously three axes, i.e. the profile feeding and the positions of the bending rolls.
Among the hundreds of parts produced with CNC-controlled rolls, some samples are: greenhouses, handrails of cruise boats, conveyor rails, variable-pitch pipe coils for boilers, pancake coils, commercial signs, etc.
Two versions of CNC control are available; both are based on industry standard non-proprietary hardware (PLC’s and Industrial PC’s worldwide available), in order to insure immediate availability of spare parts and local technical support.

The production of elbow parts for air ducts starts with a rollforming proc-ess. This operation seams the blank and creates one part for the lock. In the second step the internal and outside elbow duct cheeks will be rounded on the requested radius.
Traditional rounding machines use one part rolls. Since the part comes with the rollformed seam, traditional rounding machines can offer only some poor and costly compromises. Setting the rolls to the seam thickness results in poor radii. Stronger settings will damage the seam and in the long term also the rolls.
The RAS VENTIrounder for the air duct production rounds sheet metal elbow cheeks with pre-formed Snap Lock or Pittsburgh seams. The result are perfect workpieces without the need of additional spacer parts.
After having moved the rounding rings along the working length and set them to the approximate blank width, you can start rounding the blank. The rings round the sheet metal without touching the seams. Therefore the seams keep their geometry during the rounding process. A gear-brake motor with variable speed can be operated from a single phase outlet.
