Made primarily of 12 gauge metal construction, Airex Industries’ downdraft tables are designed for industrial applications, including the removal and filtration of dust, smoke and other airborne pollutants. Hazardous materials are removed before reaching the worker-breathing zone. The built in motor/blower and reverse pulse self-cleaning filter system requires virtually no maintenance while prolonging filter life and unit efficiency. Front or side filter access, deep dust trays, optional casters for ease of movement, multiple grating options, as well as different interchangeable top sections allows the downdraft tables to be tailored, customized to your/any/very specific needs. This unit complies with environmental clean air regulations.

Downdraft Tables
The Airflow Systems line of downdraft tables brings source capture collection efficiency to industrial applications requiring larger, open collection areas and work surfaces. The Airflow Systems downdraft table combines the work surface with the particulate collection area. The downdraft design draws contaminants away from the worker's breathing zone without hindering the worker's movement or productivity. Airflow Systems offers a selection of portable downdraft tables and stationary downdraft tables for most any type of grinding, sanding, and welding application.

Built from strong metal plates, designed and machined by applying the most advanced technology. This bench is a very efficient suction system for the dust produced by manual sanding and tool sanding, protecting the operator from the noxious side effects of inhaling fine dust. Its 2 m2 surface includes a sturdy system of rubber-covered supports to protect the work items during machining.
|
|
Constructive Features:
The BS bench is constructed from a series of bolted and appropriately sized panels so as to make a robust structure which can withstand uniformly distributed loads of up to 350 kg/m².
The use of gavalnised sheet metal also prevents the continuous treatment of the surfaces following use or their deterioration as normally occurs with painted benches.
The internal housing of the fan allows the overall dimensions of the BS bench to be reduced making it more compact.
The work surface and the front suction walls are extractable to allow inside inspection and enable large size parts to be placed on the bench.
Slag and heavy dust from operations are deposited inside the bench and are easily removed using the extractable collections tray at the bottom of the bench.
Th bench's ergonomic design allows it to be used in the most suitable position for carrying out the operation.

The Envirosystems Down Draft Tables are constructed of structural steel tubing with an 18 Ga. Galvanized steel plenum. The tables will attach in any AirWall MD model using am adapter kit. It replaces the normal inlet baffles. This adapter kit is included with all AirWall units that are purchased with a down draft table. The units are designed with ease of use in mind.
The process of converting the down draft table to the AirWall unit is very simple and straight forward. Generally, connecting the table to the dust collection unit requires only about 5 minutes or less to complete. We have engineered our systems to be extremely easy to use and cost efficient.

This machine is able to treat both workpieces hanging on a workfixture and workpieces positioned onto a rotating table type unit. Eventually as option, a satellite table assembly is available in order to guarantee a complete and homogeneous finishing also to pieces with complicated shapes.
|
|
Shotblasting installations are provided with hooks or motoriseed hoist for pieces hanging and transporting to be cleaned.
The surface treatment degree is obtained by the translation and rotation combined movement of hanged material in front of turbines.
All our models can be equipped with some optionals to improve the machine performance like inverter regulators on the turbine motors.
Our standard models are devided in two categorie: mod. DELTA (version with manual hooks) and mod. BETA (version with motorised hoist)

Surface treatment
The needle scalers can be used to remove rust, old paint-layers or concrete from surfaces. Also the removal of welding flux form the welding
seam is made easy be using the appropriate needle scaler. A wide range of shapes and sizes is available.
RSI
Repetitive strain injury, repetitive stress injury, or RSI is a term that most people have heard of. RSI is really a blanket name that is used to describe many different types of soft tissue injury including carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitus. A mixture of bad ergonomics, poor posture, stress, and repetitive motion usually causes it. If you work with needle scalers on a daily basis you are certainly at risk from repetitive strain injury. It may not be life threatening, but RSI has the potential to cause crippling disability
and pain. Early treatment is the key to success, because recovery can be a very slow process. Better of course is prevention.
How to avoid RSI?
A well-balanced power to weight ratio
Vibration reduced to a minimum
A rubber handgrip will dampen some of the vibrations and gives the operator a smooth and good grip.
