Rösler shotblasting systems are characterized by many innovative details.
In order to utilize the available space, a compact machine design of this tumble belt batch machine was chosen which fits into the flow of the production line. The advantage of the batch process was that the components could remain in the shot blasting chamber for a longer time than in a continuous machine. In the case of sand removal, a longer blast cycle is required for optimum cleaning. The accumulation of parts into batches was solved by vibratory hoppers with a capacity of up to 400 litres. The engineers paid special attention to the tumblast system and the loading conveyors. The high part temperature, the different geometries, the different parts sizes, and the different part weights, required utilisation of a steel belt. The loading conveyors were equipped with felt-like, heat resistant conveyor belts.
The sand removal process required another special system feature. In order to remove sand continuously, quickly, and completely from the shot blasting system and to recycle it after cleaning, each machine was fitted with a double magnetic separator, a double cascade air flow separator and an impact pre-cleaner.

The tunnel type machines “DELTAMATIC” are designed to increase the performance of the hook type machines by keeping the turbines continuously running.
The materials are hanged on several hooks connected to a ring type overhead conveyor, which can be monorail, double rail or with hoists.
The hook inside the blasting room, once in position, starts to rotate on its axis and move back and forward in front of the turbines (mounted on one side of the machine). These combined movements ensure the complete shot-blasting of the parts external surface.
The customer can choose the size and loading capacity of the machine according to the parts to be shot-blasted.
Depending on the height of the machine, the installation may require a pit. The shot-blasting unit is supplied complete with a self-cleaning dry cartridges dust collector.

Aeronautics is a sector in which the applications of shot-blasting, carried out by compressed-air machines, are very varied. They concern, for example, the shot-blasting of prestressed (or shot-peening) which improves the fatigue strength of the parts engine, the machine elements, the landing gears, the elements of structure such as the members and the panels of wings of plane also formed by prestressing.
RANGE MP: UNDER THE SIGN OF THE PERFORMANCE
Marketed under the mark Sisson Lehmann, range MP goes from MP 800 (for parts 800 mms in diameter) until MP 20.000 (for panels of 20 m length wings). They are equipment of utmost precision. The displacement of the tube of shot-blasting, handled by robotized systems or with numerical control, offers a level of precision lower than the 1/10 Misters.
An accurate check of the parameters of projection is carried out thanks to measurements of the flow of the projected shot and regulation of the pressure. Systems of supervision allow an optimal control of the process with the edition for each part treated of reports/ratios of quality including of the statistics on the stability of the equipment.

For gas and oxygen cylinders blasting equipment is used to blastclean the insides during production and remove corrosion such as rust and scale during rebuilding.
Cylinders are positioned in the blasting stations either manually or by means of lifting gears and roller conveyors or by robot (see illustration above).
Cylinders are processed vertically to ensure that abrasive gravitates downwards.

The tunnel-type shot-blasting unit “ELI” is specifically designed for the continuous external surface treatment of pipes and cylindrical parts (bottles reservoirs, etc.).
The material conveyor consist of raking bi-conical driving rolls, which provide at the same time the progress and the rotation around the main axis of the pipe.
The number and power of the turbines are chosen according to the required production rate.
The machine does not require a pit, and is supplied complete with a self-cleaning dry cartridges dust collector.

The tunnel type machine “GAMMA” is a continuous shot-blasting unit with a motorised rolls conveyor, employed for surface treatment of plates, profiles, pipes and steel structures.
The number and location of the turbines are optimised to ensure the full coverage of the materials transported by the conveyor.
By the frequency inverter for the rolls conveyor driving unit, the operator can choose the best compromise between the production speed and the final result, depending on materials condition before shot-blasting.
A blowing and brushing device ensure the shots removal from the surface of the blasted parts.
The machine type “GAMMA” can be installed “in-line” with a painting facility. For plates only it is also available the model with the conveyor in vertical position (type “VERT”).
The shot-blasting unit is supplied complete with a self-cleaning dry cartridges dust collector.

Conscious that all the machines are not used in 3x8, Wheelabrator Group designed a shot-blasting machine specifically adapted to the intermittent uses out of metal frame.
The conveyer shot-blasting machine with rollers RB 1500 SmartLine is equipped with 4 turbines high-output Roto-jet judiciously laid out, which allow a cover to perfect sections posed with the horizontal heart. Once granulated, the sections pass in a hopper of brushing-blowing controlled in height, which make it possible to evacuate all the shot of the sections. Those leave the machine clean and vacuum-cleaned.

Our production range covers from a minimum table diameter of 500 mm to a maximum of 2400 mm. On the same principle we produce a 3-table satellite machine, called "T3/100", with tables of 1000 mm each, suitable for delicate articles and large-scale production.

This type of machine is particularly suitable for shotblasting small parts loaded in bulk. A special anti-abrasive rubber mat arranged as a cradle receives the articles to be treated and with its movement maintains them in a constant tumble.
The articles are hit by the jet of abrasive generated by the turbine, and by continuously changing position, they receive the shotblasting treatment extremely uniformly on all the surfaces. A steel belt is recommended for all earth fusion materials and for all parts with weight exceeding 15 kg each

Tumble blast shotblasting machines are used for deburring, shot peening, surface cleaning of materials like aluminium, steel, stainless steel, brass and bronze. Available volume capacity of our standard models from 100 to 100 liters with loading charge till 3000 kg.
Our standard models are devided in TBG (version with rubber belt conveyor) and TBA (version with steel belt conveyour).
The machine can be equipped with automatic loading device with hydraulic operating skip.

These shot-blasting machines make it possible to treat the parts in bulk.
The movement of the apron retournor makes it possible to brew the parts under the jet of the turbine and thus to make sure that all the faces of the parts are exposed and treated.
The weak loads and the fragile parts are treated within an apron rubber (T-R), while the very heavy, aggressive parts with sharp or hot edges are treated in a steel steel deck (T-S).
The loading of the machine can be made by a skip and unloading by inversion of the direction of walk of the apron, on a vibrating conveyer or with band. The cycles are most of the time automatic.
Our standard range of apron shot-blasting machines retournor rubber includes capacities from 50 to 300 liters for loads going from 100 to 800 kg.

International Surface Preparation offers a wide variety of wheel blast equipment in several configurations. One of the more popular models of wheel blast equipment is a tumble blast unit.
Tumble blast machines are comprised of either a rubber or steel flighted belt that is driven within a mill, or cabinet, as the parts tumble beneath the blast wheel. Parts are batch processed in the tumble blast.
These units can are best suited for manual loading and unloading however loaders and conveyors can sometimes be utilized to provide for a semi-automated process.
Continuous tumble blast machines are available as well. These in-line units tumble parts through a tunnel by means of a rolling belt beneath a series of blast wheels.
Standard tumble blast machines range in size from 1 ½ cubic feet up to 12 cubic feet of operating capacity. Tumble blast models bigger than 12 cubic feet are available should your production require a larger machine.

Shotblasting Cabins with Pressure System
Even if shotblasting cabins with pressure system have an initial cost bigger than cabin with injection system, they give, with the same compressed air consumption, the following advantages:
- higher working yeld using the same type of abrasive
- possibility of regulating the pressure and the quantity of blasted abrasive
- possibility of using metal abrasive (if it's possible on that surface) instead of alluminium oxide. This allows a consequent, considerable wear and tear reduction of the abrasive and some parts of some equipments wich come in contact with the abrasive
- possibility of carrying out a better separation of used abrasive.

In a spinner hanger parts are loaded on hanging fixture and rotate in front of the blast wheels for complete coverage. The spinner hanger is a good choice for blasting parts that are delicate or are thin walled.
