Lamina series sheet lines, over 200 installed across the globe, are designed for absolute ease of operation and are available in a host of configurations to suit individual customer?s requirements with output ranging from 110 kg/hr to 700 kg/hr, width ranging from 540 mm to 1400 mm, in single to five layer configuration for processing various polymers like PS, PP, PE, PVC, PET and ABS. Most Lamina sheet lines are designed for thermoforming at its core and therefore accurate and centralized controls allow for production of excellent quality smooth sheets to ensure easy thermoformability of the sheet.

Fomex
Foam Extrusion Lines
Rajoo has done pioneering developments in polymer foam extrusion in India and have emerged as the only supplier for foam extrusion lines christened Fomex. Starting from chemically foamed PE blown film lines in 1989, Rajoo today offers physically foamed sheet lines for expanded PE and PS with annular as well as flat die.
These sheet lines have a production capacity ranging from 80 kg/hr to 200 kg/hr and density range of 0.22 to 0.02 using different physical blowing agents.
The blown foamed films find applications in banners, wall-calendars and host of other stationery items whereas expanded PE sheets are extensively used for bottle cap liners and general packaging applications. Expanded PS sheets are used in disposable containers. Rajoo is proud to claim that more than 90% of cap liners and foamed banners in India are produced on Fomex lines.
The Fomex lines are designed specially for smooth longer runs. Rajoo have also supplied lines with flat die to produce food grade cap liners with carbon dioxide as physical blowing agent which is considered most difficult to process.

The Kneader Extruder combines the efficiency of a double arm - sigma blade mixer with the convenience of an extrusion screw for the mixing and discharging of heavy viscous materials.
The Kneader Extruder includes a set of counter-rotating kneading blades and a discharge screw. The blades are mounted on a horizontal axis in a u-shaped trough. Below the blades in a seperate cavity is the discharge screw. During the mixing cycle the blades rotate toward each other while the mixing screw rotates in a reverse direction, constantly feeding new materials into the mixing blades. After the mixing/kneading cycle is complete, the screw is reversed and it transports the mixed materials from the mix zone out through a discharge die and on to further processing or packaging.
The Kneader Extruder has several advantages over conventional non-screw discharge kneaders:
1. Mixes in approx. 15% less time
2. Eliminates the manual task of scraping out sticky/tacky materials.
3.Eliminates operator exposure to materials of elevated temperatures or of a toxic nature, thereby improving plant safety.
Many sizes and designs are availble to meet the most stringent process needs. Kneader Extruders are manufactured in many sizes from 1 through 1000 gallons capacity.

Different processing lengths and screw geometries guarantee a wide area of application. Venting zones, interchangeable grooved bushes, stroke adjustment systems and many more features allow for an extremely versatile application in setting up extrusion lines.

• The 3 extruders are on parallel lay-out on common frame (or upon request on radial lay-out); 2 of them are 65 mm. and the midlayer is 75 mm. screw diameter. All are with a.c. vector motors, bimetallic barrel, ceramic lined heater bands, low-shear barrier screws.
• The coex head is the well reputed Multisplit type (direct seeding and binary repartition), featuring a very minimum melt resident time, a low-working pressure and a quite high self-clearing factor.
• The IBC construction is vertical passing through the head, thus granting an absolute temperature homogeneity of the steel mass, to the benefit of the thickness distribution.
• The dual lip cooling ring is coupled with an automatic film profile control system (a segmented flow design), that, thru 48 actuators, a circular scanner with capacity type head and a powerful software grants gauge variations below the threshold of ± 4%.
• The oscillating nip is a 360° horizontal – diverging type, with air cushion rollers and option for additional nip-roll on the film descent section, before the photocell edge guide.
• The 2 station automatic flat-ped winder is the latest development in the “Dolci” winders family and, for this line, can be assembled in face-to-face or back-to-back lay-out and includes the following outstanding features: GAP winding with taper tension control and reverse winding. The reverse winding
is particularly welcome in case of sticky films on one side, and for turning the corona treated side on recto or verso, according to job needs.
