Complete production stations.
(Small islands) of assembly made up of, FIFO, support work stations of professional press and screw driver for the assembly in great series in the mechanical engineering industry. |
|
Amongst the characteristics of our machines, such as the industrial design and ease of operation, one of the key aspects is modularity, a feature that facilitates installation of sizeable systems within only a few hours.
Our modular designs also have the consequence that installed systems can be versatile owing to their upgradability. Individual stations of sections of a modularly-designed system can be upgraded or developed to take advantage of new technical advances. |

FMS
Flexible Assembly System
With the progressive, powerful Flexible Assembly System FMS Bihler give the fully automatic flow-line assembly a decisive stimulus. The innovative and fully integratable machine concept enables rapid and economic manufacture and assembly of complete mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies with verified high quality. The combination of many different work processes and multiple-machining on a basic machine provide for maximum economic operation. The patented intermittent transport system and the oscillating linear rail control guarantee highest precision and high cycling rates. Besides the machine stands out for its high availability which is due to short setting-up times and standard spare parts as well as quick changeovers of products. Purpose-optimized housing structures guarantee maximum functionality and quiet operation and allow mounting of all the appropriate processing modules. The external form allows the operator to approach the machine more closely and give him a better overview and facilitates access to all units for mounting, adjustment and servicing the FMS.

AGME design and manufacture rotary desk assembly devices with AGME standard equipment incorporating the most modern technology in the automation industry. These special machines allow components to be transferred to different work stations with a rotary movement and they are designed to manufacture our customer’s parts in the most cost effective way.
AGME rotary transfer machines carry out a wide range of forming and assembly processes: simple operations of pressing, riveting and marking as well as more special operations like bush or spring insertion, tube forming, bending, flaring, crimping and screwing. These work modules can also incorporate automatic industrial feeding systems, positioning and adjustment units, professional robots, subassembly control and test stations and all necessary fixtures. These special modules can be automatic or semiautomatic with one or two manual loading station.
These machines require minimum adjustments and are fully automatic. Thanks to the industrial process controller in the machine it is possible to eradicate human error and provide savings on cycle time and quality |

Automated RIVCLINCH® Production
The RIVCLINCH® ARC-E system is a flexible Clinch system for mass production.
A compact electrically-powered setting tool and
Process monitoring with an IPC and the associated external communication with the industrial robot or a higher-level system controller, form the basis for the stable and fully automatic clinching, particularly of thin metal sheets.
The system has a modular design and is therefore suitable for various requirements and all forms of mass production - especially for automobile manufacturing and the white goods industry. |

Multicyl’s patented self-adjusting stroke with a fast advance and smooth hydraulic finish is ideal for the metal clinching operation. Many combinations of metal can be joined including mild steel, galvanized, pre-painted or pre-coated stock, aluminium, and stainless steel.
The clinching process needs no additional parts such as rivets and is effective without special preparation of the parts to be fastened. Companies in the HVAC, automotive, office furniture, and appliance industries have switched to this proven fastening technology offered by Multicyl.
An added benefit is that our MultiLoc systems bring the ease and practicality of the unitized tooling concept to metal joining applications. The punch and die can be easily changed to accommodate different materials and the tooling can even be completely changed so that a MultiLoc station can be converted into a hole punching station in just minutes.
Adding automation to the concept can make an efficient high volume production MultiLoc machine. See the picture below of an automated MultiLoc machine used by a company in the furniture industry to make frames out of roll formed components. The machine includes four custom clinching stations, an automated parts feeder, and programmable adjustment to accept a full range of standard part sizes. Sensors are used to assure that all parts were in the proper position before the machine would cycle.

The SMD-Pick and Place process is the most time-critical procedure within the scope of the complete production centre. Quantitatively we cover the range from preliminary prototype productions, small and medium series up to large-scale production. Qualitatively our SMD equipment allows the placement of simple components up to ultra-fine-pitch, BGAs and odd-forms.
This overall product range is divided into five basic areas:
1. The systems LM 900 and LM 901 are the worldwide most usual manual Pick and Place systems in the SMD production. As the global market leader we can look back on twenty years of experience. This manual Pick and Place machines are especially appropriate to the assembly of prototypes and small series.
2. The semi-automatic Pick and Place system range SM 902 relieves the operator with PC-controlled placing and insures hundred percent correct placement.
3. Our placer LM 904 is a two-arm-system. Useful for SMD Pick and Placement as well as Fine-Pitch placement.
4. Our µPlacer offers selektive Pick and Place, particularly for post-placement of single components and high complex circuitries like Ultra-Fine-Pitch components.
5. The placeALL® Systems PA 500 and PA 600 constitute the latest standard for the fully automatic Pick and Place. The capability is between 2.500 and 6.500 components per hour, real.
