The gelcoats in this group are designed for general industrial applications. They are suitable for economic applications where weathering, water or chemical resistance is not necessary for the products that will be used indoor or paint finish.
Polijel 208 is an orthophtalic based, thixotropic, preaccelerated, general purpose gelcoat.
It's used especially in the production of sanitary equipment, playground equipment and in the automotive industry where the parts will be painted after production. It can also be used in interior decoration and polyester furniture production.
Polijel 208 shouldn't be preferred when aesthetic appearance, water and chemical resistance are needed because it gets matt and yellow in the course of time.

POLYLITE® 33542-60 is a pre-promoted, pre-filled, unsaturated polyester laminating resin suitable for the construction of GRP tooling. This resin is formulated for room temperature cure using MEK peroxide catalyst, and has improved stability for warmer climates.
POLYLITE® 33542-60 represents an advancement of the successful Polylite Profile Tooling system, maintaining all the properties of the original resin, with the convenience of a single product used with a conventional catalyst.

Unsaturated polyester resins (including vinyl esters and additives) are used in the production of fibre reinforced plastics or non-reinforced filled products.
Due to the ease and freedom of processing, unsaturated polyester resin can be applied in the manufacturing of small and very large structures. Well known in marine and automotive, but also in e.g. wind turbine blades.
As the European market leader, DSM Composite Resins sells their unsaturated polyester resins under the tradenames: Atlac, Daron, Palatal, Palapreg and Synolite.

The resins in this group are specially designed for polyester mold production. These resins provide unique advantages for mold applications, such as low total volumetric shrinkage, easy wetting of fiber glass, thixotropic structure (non dripping from vertical surfaces) and also high mechanical resistance which molds are often exposed to.
Polipol 320 is an orthophtalic based, thixotropic, preaccelerated unsaturated polyester resin.
The resin is designed for the production of moulds. Polipol 320 can safety be used in other fields where similar properties are required mould making.
The most important spesification is that it has a low shrinkage and low internal stress so that the products made from it, has no deformation.
It can easily wet fiberglass and it will not drip down vertical surfaces because of its thixotropy. Because of it is a preaccelerated resin you will only add Mek-p before using it.

Two-component self-levelling flexible polyurethane resin and tar based sealant. Highly resistant to hydrocarbons, Mapeflex PB27 is formulated for sealing expansion joints in airport runways, highways, parking lots and garages, service areas and structures subject to vehicular traffic. Mapeflex PB27 is a two-component self-levelling sealant consisting of a polyurethane polymer (Part A) and a special tar-based hardener (Part B).

Dispersion, blending, powder-coating, and specialized suspension vinyl resins are used for formulating plastisols, powders and compounds for applications such as resilient flooring, artificial leather, can coatings, toys, and flexible gasketing and tubing. Vinyl chloride homopolymer and copolymer (vinyl chloride/vinyl ester) resins are fine white powders that can be easily dispersed in plasticizers and solvents.

Epilox® M 923 and Epilox® - hardeners M 924 und M 925 are laminating systems which are preferably used for manufacturing of rotor blades for wind power stations. The main advantage of these systems, compared to our standard laminating system Epilox® M 730 + Epilox® - hardener M 734, is the compatibility of the fast curing hardener Epilox® - Härters M 924 with the slow curing hardener Epilox® - Härter M 925 allowing to adjust the reactivity of the batches in dependence on the ambient temperature. Mixtures of both hardeners may be prepared in any desired ratio without changing the mix ratio of resin and hardener. This system is approved according to no. WP 0320009 HH of Germanischer Lloyd.

POLYLITE 31660-02 is a high reactivity orthophthalic polyester resin with medium viscosity. The resin is especially designed for SMC/BMC.

These gelcoats are specially designed for mold building applications where impact, heat and chemical (aging effects of release agents) resistance is at high levels. Polijel 220 series are optimized to work with Polipol 320 Resin for mold production.
Polijel 220 is an isophtalic/NPG/special based, acrylic modified, thixotropic, pre-accelerated gelcoat.
It is designed for the production of mould for polyester products.
The most important feature of gelcoat is it's resistance to ageing effects of release agents and styrene.
It has optimal flexibility and advanced stroke resistance.

NORPOL FI-184 is a vinyl ester based bonding paste for bonding polyester laminates giving joints with great strength and toughness.
NORPOL FI-184 is pre-accelerated and is changing colour from light grey to yellowish/brown <5min. after the admixing of peroxide.
•Recommended peroxide dosage: 2.0% CHP peroxide (NORPOL PEROXIDE 24)
•Recommended application temperature interval 18-23 ºC
•Sag/flow: Will not sag provided a maximum thickness of 20 mm is observed. Not horizontally self-flowing.
•Thicknesses up to 15 mm can be applied in one operation without causing cracks when curing
NORPOL FI-184 is suitable for machine application. We recommend running tests with the machine before starting the bonding job to ensure proper admixing of the peroxide.
VARIOUS PROPERTIES
Suitable surfaces: Glass-fiber reinforced products and cellular plastics.
Workability: Hard to grind.
The bonding paste should be stored at 18-25 ºC .If the product have a temperature <18 ºC (which is no problem as to product quality) it should be heated to 18-25 ºC before use. See storage and handling document of NORPOL products.

NORPOL® SVG is a family of high-quality gelcoats based on a premium ISO/NPG polyester resin.
APPLICATION
NORPOL® SVG gelcoats are available in both spray and brush versions.
• Recommended peroxide dosage: 1.3 - 2.0%
• Recommended film thickness: 0.55-0.85 mm (wet film)
FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
NORPOL® SVG Gelcoats can provide a significant reduction in emission of volatiles. White spray gelcoat has a VOC content of ca. 30 wt% whilst white brush gelcoat contains only ca. 25 wt%.
The VOC emissions of NORPOL® SVG products are approximately 50 percent lower than those of conventional gelcoats where styrene is the only monomer used.
