Epilox® M 923 and Epilox® - hardeners M 924 und M 925 are laminating systems which are preferably used for manufacturing of rotor blades for wind power stations. The main advantage of these systems, compared to our standard laminating system Epilox® M 730 + Epilox® - hardener M 734, is the compatibility of the fast curing hardener Epilox® - Härters M 924 with the slow curing hardener Epilox® - Härter M 925 allowing to adjust the reactivity of the batches in dependence on the ambient temperature. Mixtures of both hardeners may be prepared in any desired ratio without changing the mix ratio of resin and hardener. This system is approved according to no. WP 0320009 HH of Germanischer Lloyd.

Nida-Bond is a specially formulated, polyester based core bedding compound developed by Nida-Core Corporation for hand lay-up and vacuum bagging core installation. Use of premium resins results in high tensile and flexural strength. Its high adhesive strength provides an excellent bond between the core and the laminate. Its is suitable for most coring applications and is compatible with our Foamline, BalsaLite and Nida-Core, TecnoCore, PVC and SAN foam core materials. Characteristics include: lightweight, non-sagging, and long working time for coverage of large areas. Consult MSDS for additional handling, storing and safety information. NidaBond is available either Pumpable or Trowelable.

The challenges in the production of lightweight composites increase with the multitude of materials. In these applications, the adhesive plays a decisive role. Beside bonding durably and reliably, it has to perform additional functions: flame retardation, blocking or controlled permeation of vapor, damping of vibrations, accommodating elongation differences, and much more.
New: for the manufacture of sandwich elements of aluminum or composites such asa FRP and an aluminum honeycomb core, we recommend viscoelastic Collano® adhesive films. Their adhesive strength exceeds the performance range of reactive systems, and they provide the composite with high resistance against fatigue and shock.
The new Collano® A8 is ideal for the manufacture of sandwich elements with fire-stopping properties and extreme mechanical alternating loads and vibration stresses. It is not only flame-retardant but at the same time very tough and elastic.

Chemically Fuse Engineered Plastics and Composites with Little or No
Surface Preparation
Unlike other adhesives and putties, Plexus "Fiberglass Fusion" Adhesives chemically fuse FRP, composites, and almost all polyester resins and gelcoats. Because they require virtually no surface preparation, Plexus Adhesives reduce assembly times by up to 60%. They produce bonds so strong that the substrates will delaminate before the bonds fail. Tough and durable, these super adhesives offer exceptional flexibility, impact strength, and resistance to fuels, chemicals, and water.

CR 3400 (In-Mould Epoxy Gelcoat / Surfacing System)
- Easy to sand
- May also be used with some Gurit prepregs
CR 3400 is an in-mould epoxy surfacing system for epoxy laminates, and is designed to be used as the base for the subsequent application of a paint scheme. CR 3400 is therefore formulated to be easily sandable so that once released, the CR 3400 surface can be readily keyed prior to the application of the paint system. This feature gives additional benefits in that any minor surface defects caused by laminate print-through or mould imperfections can easily be sanded away.
CR 3400 is applied into a mould in the same way as other epoxy gelcoats, and has similar handling characteristics. However, the product has a considerably longer overcoating window than other gelcoats - up to one day with Standard hardener at 20°C. This means that the system can also be used in a very flexible manufacturing environment.
CR 3400 is designed to be backed up with Ampreg 22 and Ampreg 26 epoxy laminating systems. Under certain conditions it may also be used in conjunction with SP SE70, SE84 prepregs, ST70 and ST 95 SPRINT® systems. CR3400 must be painted prior to water immersion.

Superfluid epoxy resin for injection. Epojet is used for monolithic repair of structures which have cracked due to overloading, impact, earthquakes etc; it is also used for bonding and structural strengthening by low pressure injection and for sealing cracks in cement screeds. Epojet is a solvent-free epoxy adhesive, consisting of two pre-measured components to be mixed together with an electric stirrer prior to use. After mixing, Epojet becomes a low viscosity liquid ideal for injection. Epojet polymerizes without shrinkage and is watertight after hardening. For monolithic repair of degraded structures, inject Epojet into the cracks with a pump. Horizontal cracks in screeds can be sealed simply by pouring Epojet directly into them.

Ampreg 22 - Epoxy Laminating System
- Optimised for open-mould laminating of large structures
- Improved health and safety
- Lloyds approved
- Germanischer Lloyd approved
Ampreg 22 is an established and widely used laminating system. It is intended for both wet lay-up and vacuum bagging processes and uses the most up-to-date epoxy chemistry available. Its long working time, low exotherm and low viscosity make it ideal for the manufacture of large, high performance composite structures.
The Ampreg 22 system consists of a resin and a choice of five hardeners to provide a complete range of working properties. With its 14 hour hardener Ampreg 22 can provide laminate working times of over 14 hours at 20°C whilst having low exothermic reactions even when used in thick sections. The Fast hardener has such rapid through-cure at 25-30°C that it can be used to produce small mouldings that are demouldable in just a few hours.
The low initial viscosity allows laminates to be produced by contact pressure, vacuum or pressure bag techniques, filament winding, or vacuum assisted resin injection. Thorough wetting of reinforcement fibres is ensured by the low viscosity and excellent air release properties of the resin / hardener mixture. This, in particular, assists with the impregnation of aramid and carbon fibres.
Ampreg 22 resin has one of the lowest diluent contents of any epoxy resin system available today. Together with the use of some unique chemistry in the hardeners, the overall system shows marked improvements in handling safety over other products.

- Low initial mixed viscosity
- Good cure progression from ambient only cures
- Non Pigmented Resin and Hardeners
- Improved Health and Safety
- Optimised for Hand Lay-Up
- Excellent Fibre Wetting
- Germanischer Lloyd approved
Ampreg 21 has been optimised for the manufacture of large composite structures using hand layup, and vacuum bagging techniques. The relatively low initial mixed viscosity of Ampreg 21 allows easy wetout of heavyweight reinforcements. It has been formulated to give a good Health and Safety product.
Ampreg 21 has been designed to give excellent mechanical and thermal properties from both ambient temperature cures, and moderate temperature postcures (50°C). This system is available with a range of hardener speeds, from Fast to Extra Slow.
Ampreg 21 is optimised for use between 18 - 25°C. At lower temperatures the product thickens and may become unworkable. At higher temperatures working times will be significantly reduced. Maximum relative humidity for use is 70%.
