Very attractive installation costs
When several islands coexist, were you aware that the cost of installing them is closely related to the machine's wiring architecture?
This a very important point: thanks to a substantial reduction in the number of components such as terminal boards, distribution units, cables, raceways and wiring, both the implementation and the maintenance of the installation as a whole become highly cost-effective.
The 2000 series islands consist of a subbase, which includes the electrical and pneumatic valves into which the distributors are plugged ("Plug in" technology).
Efficient, advanced and highly flexible architecture
It is very easy to optimise the fieldbus: a single connection on the master island is sufficient for the control engineer to establish:

Type 14 valve terminals for VDMA valves are of modular design and can be equipped with 2 to 16 valves in accordance with VDMA 24563 / ISO 15407-1. Fewer valves may also be installed, in which case vacant positions are sealed with blanking plates.
The valves include individual connection with an M8 central connector or standard pattern.
The valve terminals include common supply ports and exhausts for all valves. The bus lines can be connected to the end plates, or via adapter plates. Combining of sizes 02 and 01 is possible.The valve terminals are configured, assembled and tested for correct functioning in accordance with customer requirements. This results in minimal installation time.

| The Bex Manifold Block is a terminal for sub-base mounted solenoid valves. For each station there is a built-in on-off valve on the supply air to the station. The manifold blocks are made for valves according to ISO-standards but also for other types of solenoid valves and I/P-converters. |

The spool valves and mini spool valves are available in ISO 1,2,3,4 and ISO 01,02 standardized and non-standardized versions. With pneumatic or electropneumatic control (integrated or via CNOMO pilots), they provide an extended service life of 30 million cycles.
