The most advanced manipulator
A rigid manipulation principle is often desirable for eccentric handling (loads that can be handled centrically are best manipulated using a flexible or self-suspended principle such as a cable balancer). The most advanced possibility in rigid handling systems is the Master Balancer: because, in this case too, the arms are bare and hollow. So that manoeuvrability is much better than with conventional manipulators which have drive elements and sometimes even ballast weights on the arms, which means that everything moves. Compared to the traditional handling devices such as hoists and pneumatic manipulators, the Intelligent Assist Devices by Scaglia Indeva provide relevant advantages:
Precise positioning of the load as they allow for accurate and rapid movements, while traditional handling devices overtravel, bounce and require lots of little corrective movements that reduce productivity.
Intuitive control: It features the “float mode” control or “hands on manipulation”, without actuating the control handle. It makes the most of the natural human ability to coordinate and control motion, thus allowing for a more intuitive control that means a more precise and quicker positioning of the load, especially when this has to be placed in a narrow target as gently as possible.
Improved ergonomics and no effort required. Thanks to the microprocessor based control, the system supplies energy to win inertia both during acceleration and braking.
Speed: IADs respond swiftly, yet smoothly to human touch; the operator notices no time lapse between the machine’s sensing and its response.
Automatic and immediate compensation to weight: it allows handling loads with different weights or loads that vary their weight during handling (emptying out containers) with no stop times at all for turning selector.

Vacuum-barrels: station of discharge, proportioning and rinsing of barrels and small containers
The vacuum-barrels is designed for the transfer of liquid additives (even viscous) stored out of barrels or small containers and in front of being built-in processes of formulation. It provides the functions of:
- draining of the barrel or container without wasting,
- proportioning of the product,
- rinsing of the barrel and the piping of transfer,
- recycling of the product of washing.
Applications
Industry of the lubricants and chemistry. Adapted more particularly to the cases where:
- the products to be proportioned are numerous,
- the quantities of products to be proportioned are weak (of 10 to a few hundred kilos),
- the necessary precision of proportioning is raised,
- the residual quantity must be reduced.
