Demand continues to mount for improved comfort conditioning combined with lower operating costs. New architectural designs have created real problems for contractors and engineers to maintain humidity control at reduced loads, and to control load variations. Refrigeration and air conditioning systems are usually designed to provide a given capacity at maximum conditions. These operate with little fluctuation throughout a narrow load range. However, only the larger size machines make any provisions for operation at reduced capacity. In some systems, integral cylinder unloading, the installation of a gas engine drive with variable speed control, or even multiple smaller systems, provide a logical solution.

High Pressure Valves (up to 350psig) are used for a variety of applications including feeding high pressure reactors and pneumatic systems. Very heavy castings and special seals allow these valves to operate at incredible pressure while minimizing leakage.

Coaxial:
The high pressure valves are based upon the technical concept of the coaxial valve. There are 2/2 and 3/2 way versions with threaded or flanged connections. All types are available with pneumatic and hydraulic actuation. These high pressure valves offer the same advantages as the standard co-ax valves and their multiple range of applications.
The A 45 and KB valves are suitable for pressures from 0 to 400 bar, and can be used for gaseous, liquid and neutral media. They have been successfully proven in refrigeration technology.
Lateral:
The high pressure lateral valves are available in 2/2 and 3/2 way version. Depending on the application, the available body materials are brass and stainless steel. As direct acting or externally controlled valves with pneumatic actuation the lateral high pressure valves are capable of handling system pressures up to 500 bar, thereby covering a wide range of applications on test benches, compressors, filling plants, for gaseous media as well as in water technology.

The Series 9000 high-pressure manual pinch valve is designed with ANSI Class 300 flange drilling. The heavy-duty elastomer sleeves are reinforced with high strength nylon, polyester fabrics, or Kevlar® material. Several heavy-duty sleeve designs are available. The elastomer sleeve will close even on solids, and the flexing action of the sleeve eliminates the possibility of scaling. Two heavy-duty pinch bars close the sleeve. All valve working parts are isolated from the process by the sleeve. Combining these features with a sealed body design and no packing to maintain, results in a simple, rugged, no-hang-up, maintenance-free valve.

The ALBA 2-piece ball valve, with full bore, is used as an ON-OFF valve for: chemical products, for water and pneumatic installations, gas, water, vacuum. They are available with NPT ( 10,000 PSI ), Medium Pressure ( 20,000 PSI ) and High Pressure ( 60,000 PSI ) connections to suit 1/4", 3/8", 9/16", 3/4" and 1" OD tubing.
