| The MTI Instruments Apex Series Eddy current probes offer superior performance at an economical price. flexible in design, these systems allow custom configurations to match your process needs. With linear measurement ranges from 0.5 mm to 50 mm and frequency response of up to 10 kHz, they are ideal for displacement and vibration applications that require high-speed, rugged sensors. Eddy current sensors have unique advantages over other non-contact measurement technologies in that they are unaffected by water, oil or other contaminants in the measurement area. |

In industrial processes where liquids, air or gases are used valves serve for dosing and control. There is a wide variety of valve types, butterfly or ball valves manufacturer being the most common quarter-turn types.
In large plants these valves are seldom operated manually. Mechanical actuation is normally done by separate actuators manufacturers. The valve position must be monitored electronically. This is necessary to give feedback to the controller when a certain position (e.g. "open" or "closed") is reached and to monitor the valves centrally from a control room.
Mechanical switches are still often used for position feedback on the actuator industrial shaft. For other solutions several proximity detectors are used together with a switching target for position detection. Disadvantage of these solutions: Mounting is mechanically complex. During switch mounting the signal wires can be reversed when they are connected in the top-mounted junction case. Where there are temperature fluctuations condensing humidity leads to corrosion and thus malfunction. |

Inductive Proximity switches manufacturers SIMATIC PXI
Instinctive Response to Metal
When identifying metal objects without contact, inductive proximity switches are simply the most cost-effective solution. If an electrically or magnetically conductive object approaches or leaves, they automatically send out a signal change. Inductive proximity switches are extremely reliable with a high repeat accuracy. And thanks to wear-free operation as well as resistance to temperature, noise, light or water, they have a markedly long service life. We cover the complete application spectrum with a large variety of designs and transmission ranges.

In all automated processes the use of sensors to provide information for the plc suppliers is of prime importance. Sensors supply the necessary signals on positions, end stops, levels or serve as pulse industrial transmitters for counting jobs or for monitoring rotational speed. In industrial usage inductive and capacitive proximity switches manufacturers are indispensable. As compared to mechanical switches they offer almost ideal conditions: non-contact, maintenance-free operation, high switching frequencies and switching accuracies as well as high protection against vibration, dust and humidity.
Inductive detectors detect all metals without contact, capacitive sensors detect nearly all solid and liquid media such as metal, glass, wood, plastic, water, oil, etc...
Both inductive and capacitive proximity switches are available in NAMUR versions. In conjunction with an NV0100/NV0200 amplifier the sensors can be used in zone 1 hazardous areas (the amplifier which contains Zener barriers as well as power supply suppliers and output must be mounted outside the hazardous area). |

| The industry standard inductive sensors provide the highest reliability for machine part and metal object detection from short to long distance detection, in special environments, for special mounting conditions, special applications or special connectivity requirements. |

Ring sensors use the energy variations in a resonant circuit caused by eddy current losses in conductive materials. Thus they detect all types of conductive material. Ring sensors from Pulsotronic are used for object counting tasks, wire gauge measuring, wire break control or for presence check. The product range of Pulsotronic comprehends digital and analog ring sensors.
