Anti-pollution stopper
Pronal anti-pollution stoppers have been designed to remain permanently fitted in water and sewer pipes so as to quickly stop the pipeline when accidental contamination occurs.
To do this, simply trigger stopper inflation using a remote-operated system.
Once inflated, it will prevent any toxic fluid spill or spreading of firefighting water in the pipeline.

Float-in Bags are fitted with a reinforced front cover and tension lugs. The CR material ensures increased resistance to chemicals. Working lines are secured to the tension lugs using carbine hooks and the pipe sealing bag can be floated into the pipeline without any difficulty.
Only four sizes are needed in order to seal pipe dimensions ranging from 70 mm to 1200 mm (2.8 inch to 47 inch). The float-in bag program is rounded off by a chemical variation in addition to the basic design.
In this case, all metal parts on the float-in bag are made of stainless steel and the integrated inflation hose (10 m/32 ft.) guarantees the corresponding safety distance to the area of danger.

Designed specifically to test Concrete Pipe Joints to European Standards, the ATO Stoppers represent a portable, low cost method of testing.
Pipestoppers™ ATO Stoppers and test plugs are available in all sizes from 300mm - 1800mm. Each ATO is manufactured to the specific pipe size with a variation of + & - 6mm.
The stoppers comprise an inflatable outer ring with a 5mm thick closed cell neoprene rubber out, bonded on for excellent sealing properties.
Each stopper can be used as a test end or a blank end and they are totally collapsible and light in weight, making them easy to handle.
Each stopper has a soft central membrane, with a Schrader valve for inflation. They are also fitted with a preset and tamper proof relief valve.
A pull tag is fitted for deflation and there are no removable parts.
A hook and loop strap is provided to attach a gauge and a pull out strap is provided too. An on/off tap can be opened to vent the air.
ATO stoppers are manufactured and tested to BSEN 1610 - 1998.
The safe working pressure is 0.2 bar (2.8 psi, 200 mbar or 20 kpa)
Inflation can be carried out with a small, low cost hand pump or a rechargeable inflator.
A moulded connector for the inflation hose is provided.

Inflatable stoppers
Plugging - Stopping - Tightening - Protecting
Muststop stoppers is a wide range of stoppers designed for various applications on 30 mm to 3000 mm Diameter pipes. They can be equipped with a by-pass allowing a flow deviation or a water or air tightness test.
Muststop fits to any pipe shape (circular, rectangular, ovoid…) or nature (PVC , iron, sandstone, concrete, wood…) and resists to most of the aggressive fluids commonly used in industries.
Muststop stoppers can be made of aramid fiber (Kevlar…) and are coated with Neoprene or Nitrile rubber.

Heat Resistant Pipe Purging Systems for pre-heated pipe welds.
When pre-heated ferric steel alloy pipe joints typically (5% CrMo) and some other types of steel and alloys are welded, particularly for high pressure pipework or for low hydrogen requirements, argon purging at the back of the weld is required. This is to eliminate the risk of coking and oxidation, leading to notching and eventual stress cracking under pressure.
After many years of trials and development, Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Limited has launched a range of variable diameter pipe purging systems.
Description
One model is available for each internal diameter. Each one is variable by approximately +0mm -12mm.
Using the well tried and proven Argweld® Pipe Purging System, the heat resistant version is totally covered in a special heat resistant material, which will withstand temperatures of up to 300 degrees C (572 degrees F) for 24 hours.
Operation
The system is connected to an argon hose and inserted into the pipe to be welded.
The spinal connection hose is long enough for the dams to sit at the outer edge of the pre-heated zone.
After positioning the system the argon is opened, the dams inflated to size and the interspace purged.
The purge will remain on during pre-heat and welding. It is advised for the removal of the systems prior to post-weld heat treatment.
In trials, the devices have performed many welds under these conditions.

The Multi-Exhaust Inflatable Pipe Purge Systems have a number of distinct advantages leading to big cost savings:
Use Less Inert Gas
The volume to be purged is localized. For a typical pipe run, the volume of gas used is less than 2% of that required for a conventional purge.
Faster
The system is quick + easy to install. It can be positioned accurately and the dams inflate instantly. Purging time is a fraction of that required to purge by conventional methods.
Easy to Use
'Inflatable Pipe Purge Systems' simplify the process of inert gas purging, Training is Minimal.
Improved Quality of Welds
Leading to bright, shiny, coke and oxide-free welds very quickly. The process involved is highly reliable. It gives regular, controlled high quality results.
Fast Pay Back
The Argweld pipe Purging System pays for itself in just a few welds.
Fast Payback
The 'Inflatable Pipe Purge System' pays for itself in just a few welds.
Highest Standards
We manufacture to Nuclear Quality with Nuclear approved materials.
High quality circumferential butt welding of pipe to pipe and pipe to fitting requires inert gas to be used inside the bore to prevent oxidation and notching of the root penetration weld bead.
The best system devised for this is the Inflatable Pipe Purge System.
It is quick, reliable and easy to use, the volume of purging required is kept small, resulting in significant savings in both time and the volume of inert gas used.

Quick Purge - Pipe Purging Systems
In cases where purging is required to be fast as well as reliable, the Quick Purge Systems can be used.
These systems will typically purge 36" pipe diameters to below 0.1% oxygen in less than 10 minutes and all smaller pipes, correspondingly faster.
Description
Each Quick Purge is covered with heat protective materials on the inside, so that the high temperatures at close proximity to the weld do not damage the devices.
Three hoses are available, one for argon inflation and purge, the second for auxiliary purge and the third for gas exhaust via a purge monitor.
Operation
The system is connected to an argon hose and inserted into the pipe to be welded.
The spinal connection hose is shorter than with other devices, to keep the purged volume to a minimum. The majority of the volume between the two dams, is filled with a special heat resisting collar, to keep the purge time low.
After positioning the system the argon source is opened, the dams inflated to size and the interspace purged.
after a few seconds, the auxiliary purge line can be opened to ensure the fastest possible purge time.
In trials these devices have performed many high speed welds under these conditions.
Sizes from 8inch to 84inch (200mm - 2100mm)
Feedback off the end users of the quick purge have reported savings of up to 83% ! on the purge time!
Saves on purge gas, as the volume needed to be purged is greatly reduced.
This system pays for itself in a few welds!
So why struggle with "make do" systems.

Cylindrical inflatable stoppers do not 'turn over' in the pipe. They are commonly used for stopping off pipes, particularly where access is difficult. They are frequently used for testing new pipes and drains.
Spherical inflatable stoppers give less contact area than the cylindrical version, but are very useful when access is limited. Since the position of the inflatable stopper in the pipe is not critical, it can be put at any angle. This is particularly useful when inserting into a small opening at the top of a pipe, rather than at the end of the pipe.
Rectangular inflatable stoppers have various applications specifically in air conditioning systems, air ducting and venting.
