The TIME Process is a tried and tested high-performance welding process for manual and mechanised applications that has been doing sterling service in industry for many years. By high-performance, we mean a welding process that achieves either a deposition rate of at least 8 kg/h, or a wirespeed of at least 15 m/min with 1.2 mm steel wire.
Now the TIME Process has been totally digitised. With all the attendant benefits that come as standard with Fronius digital welding systems, such as: 100 % reproducibility of all welding results, modular system principle, digital microprocessor control, superb welding properties. |

The latest generation of welding equipment can be programmed with specific process preferences of your individual choice or for the actual welding processes. Based on a solid state power source, it weighs just 1/80 of the 70 year old ancestors but has more power. Our different plasma cutting equipment enables you to quickly and accurately cut all types of metals.

Metal Inert Gas welding and Metal Active Gas welding are the most widely used welding processes in the world today. The range of possible uses is especially wide in the case of the versatile MAG process, which is suitable for unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy base metals. This makes it ideal for use in both the production field and for repair welding. The MIG process, on the other hand, is used for aluminium and copper materials.
All in all, then, a highly versatile welding process. |

Cold Metal Transfer (CMT), a new chapter in the history of welding. The TPS 5000 CMT is a fully digital micro-processor controlled inverter welding system that supports the Fronius CMT process. Besides MIG/MAG, the system is also suitable for TIG and electrode welding.
The innovation that the CMT process introduces is that wire feeding is integrated into process control. This makes it possible to reduce the amount of heat applied; and that means no spatter on the work piece join.
The TransPuls Synergic 5000 CMT with 500 A is ideal for applications in the automotive and automotive supplies industry, avionics and spaceflight, metal working and portal building. In fact, the system is suitable for any automated or robot assisted job. The typical fields of application are thin and ultra-thin sheet joins of 0.3 mm or more, MIG soldering of galvanized sheet metal, and steel/aluminum joints.

PSM 708
The PSM 408, PSM 508 and PSM 708 models are synergic power sources with electronic technology. The dynamics of these systems have been carefully studied for MIG/MAG continuous wire welding on carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium, in both Short-Arc and Spray-Arc mode.
The models PSM 408-508-708 are provided with complete functions for Mig/Mag welding in manual and synergic mode, and guarantee optimal welding dynamics. The SCR electronic technology with digital control provides accurate linear regulation of the welding current voltage, permitting easy parameter regulation even at a distance.
Optimal starts (Hot-Start Mig Soft-Start and Burn-Back) and above all safety and dependability in all operating conditions.
The SYNERGIC control panel with numerous programs stored, makes these power sources extremely simple to use and suitable also for non-expert personnel. The Auto-Setting device allows the power source to automatically compensate for mains voltage variations, maintaining welding arc stability. The current and arc voltage values are shown on the digital display and at switch-off the last welding condition is stored.
The synergy permits automatic optimal setting of all the parameters, with extreme simplicity. All you have to do is determine, according to the type of material/gas used and the wire thickness, the ideal program in the table of synergic curves and then set the value of one of the following parameters: material thickness, welding current, wire speed.
