Description
The Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik coordinate measuring systems meet all of the requirements placed on high measuring accuracy, precise movement, easy operation and flexible use.
Their efficiency is due to a variety of factors: a stable basic unit, excellent optics, various probe and laser systems, flexibly usable sensors and a fast, universal control system. The sturdy granite construction guarantees a rigidity, and thus ensures the system's insensitivity towards mechanical and thermal influences. Contactless measuring scales guarantee backlash-free operation and high measuring accuracy.
The measuring stages are motordriven, the speed of the CNC control can be adapted to the respective function. Moreover, the measuring stage is electronically corrected in all axes; this calibration can be checked at any time and corrected if necessary. The telecentric optics and diode light - with programmable intensity and adapted angle of incidence - are specially coordinated to each other. This eases the measuring of complicated workpieces and even of pieces with low contrast - also in incident light. |

Description:
LINEAR length measuring instruments from Mahr are ideal for use as setting and adjusting instruments in the manufacturing environment. TUBE TOOL is a complete solution for non-contact measuring inspection of tubes.
The Romer sensor is mounted on the OMEGA arm and associated to G-Tube software. It uses a non-contact laser technology offering workshop operators a fast, reliable and user-friendly way to measure.
The non-contact sensor avoids deformation during tube measurement, and is specifically designed for measuring tubes, wires and hoses. Rotary Precision Instruments "GEM" machine has been developed to acquire and analyse geometric data from component parts measuring Roundness, Run-out, Flatness and Parallelism.
The system measures up to 4 features simultaneously including bores, outside diameters and features interrupted by slots and bolt holes. Each channel takes 3,600 data points per revolution with high sampling rates enabling the use of sophisticated filters and digital signal processing techniques.
The measurement data is collected via a high accuracy rotary axis and bi-directional gauge heads supported on a ridged column unit.
The system has been specifically designed for use in a shop floor environment so enabling accurate and meaningful data to be collected from a high ambient noise, high vibration background. Features include centring and leveling of component parts, floating datum's with gauge head alignment achieved via laser guides.
Typical components 2,000mm in diameter and 2,000mm in height weighing up to 11,500kg can be accommodated and supported for measurement purposes via bespoke fixturing. Machines for larger application are available on request.
