The new products in the PC-RSD-PCI Series are plugged each into a PCI bus slot on the PC to serve as a new type of silicon disk drive using a CompactFlash (CF) card in the same as a hard disk.
The PC-RSD-PCI Series has two CF card slots on the board, one of which comes standard with a CF card. The other slot is available between the PCI board brackets, allowing an additional CF card to be plugged and unplugged as a removable disk with the board installed on the PC. The second slot can extend the range of applications, such as separating the OS and data areas.
The PC-RSD-PCI board uses a highly reliable CF card (fixed disk mode), which can be partitioned into two or more drives. The PC-RSD-PCI board can also accommodate an optional additional CF card to add an additional drive or drives (thereby increasing the total capacity), in which case the two CF cards can be configured into a RAID by striping (RAID level 0), mirroring (RAID level 1), or spanning (JBOD) using a utility. Symmetricom's GPS referenced bc637PCI-V2 timing module provides precise time and frequency to the host computer and peripheral data acquisition systems. Precise time is acquired from the GPS satellite system or from time code signals. GPS synchronization provides 170 nanosecond RMS accurate time to UTC (USNO) and enables the bc637PCI-V2 to be an ideal master clock for precisely synchronizing multiple computers to UTC.
Extensive time code generation and translation are supported. The generator outputs either IRIG A, B, G, E, IEEE 1344, NASA 36, XR3 or 2137 in both amplitude modulated (AM) and DC level shift (DCLS) formats. The translator reads and may be used to discipline the 10 MHz oscillator to either the AM or DCLS format of IRIG A, B, G, E, IEEE 1344, NASA 36, XR3 or 2137 time codes.
The module also has a state-of-the-art DDS rate synthesizer capable of 0.0000001 PPS to 100 MPPS. An Event Time Capture feature provides a means of latching time of an external event. A key feature of the bc635PCI-V2 is the ability to generate interrupts on the PCI bus at programmable rates. These interrupts can be used to synchronize applications on the host computer as well as signal specific events.
Integration of the module is easily facilitated with optional drivers for Windows 2000/XP, Linux, or Solaris.

The PCI-SG 2U provides precise time to computers that have PCI expansion slots. The time is derived from an IRIG-A or B time code input or the internal oscillator in the standalone generator mode. The frequency of the internal oscillator is precisely disciplined to that of the external synchronization input. Synchronization to an external 1 PPS is also possible. The PCI-SG 2U automatically supports both the 3.3V and 5.0V signaling of the PCI bus.

CAN-Bus PCI-Card with open source Linux driver
The CANnes card is a PCI card which provides a simple, easy to use CAN interface. It is equipped with a male and a female 9 pin Sub-D connector with standard CAN pin assignments. CAN bit rates between 10 and 1000 kBit/s (1MBit/s) are possible. The industry standard CAN controller SJA1000 is used together with the CAN bus driver 82C250 and optical isolation between the CAN controller and the CAN bus driver. A 120 ohms termination resistor is also provided. This resistor can be switched on and off either by a software controlled relay. Device drivers and function libraries are provided for the Windows (98/ME/2000 and NT4) operating systems and also for the Linux operating system. The CANnes cards is CE-approved and also meets FCC specifications. It can be used with every PC which is equipped with PCI slots fulfilling at least the PCI 2.1 standard.

The PCIe-DIO24 is a 24-channel digital I/O board with selectable 3.3 V or 5 V logic levels for PCI Express bus compatible computers. The 24 bits function as an 8-bit Port A, an 8-bit Port B, and an 8-bit Port C, which may be further divided into two 4-bit ports (Port C-HI and Port C-LO).
