The CIFX 50-DN is a PCI PC card for DeviceNet communications, providing autonomous protocol handling on-board and exchanging process data with the host via Dual-Port Memory (DPM) or DMA. All CIFX cards use a common driver and tooling concept for consistent integration across protocols and card formats. Multiple hardware options are available including different cable lengths, M12 connectors, optional NVRAM, extended temperature variants, 2-channel versions and detached network interfaces. A broad set of device drivers and a free C-Toolkit simplify software integration.
