Description
The cifX Mini PCI PC card CIFX 90-RE\F provides a dedicated Real-Time Ethernet communication interface for PC-based automation. The protocol stack runs autonomously on the card (netX 100), while process data is exchanged with the host via Dual-Port-Memory (DPM) or DMA. The common Hilscher platform and driver set enable the same integration workflow irrespective of protocol or card format. Firmware-based protocol switching allows one hardware platform to support multiple Real-Time Ethernet standards.
