The CIFX 50E-2DP is a 2-channel PCI Express PC card for PROFIBUS DP (Master or Slave) that provides deterministic communication for PC-based automation. The cifX family executes the protocol stack autonomously on the card and exchanges process data with the host via Dual-Port-Memory (DPM) or DMA. Hilscher netX technology enables support of multiple Real-Time Ethernet and Fieldbus protocols via firmware.
