Overview
The cifX family of PC boards is the unified standard supporting Real-Time Ethernet and Fieldbus systems for PC-based automation. The protocol stack runs independently on the board and process data is exchanged with the host via Dual-Port Memory (DPM) or DMA. All cifX boards use the same driver and toolset. netX technology enables different protocols by loading different firmware.
