Product Overview
The cifX PC card family is the unified standard supporting all Real-Time Ethernet and Fieldbus systems for PC-based automation. The protocol stack runs autonomously on the PC card and exchanges process data with the host via Dual-Port Memory or DMA (Direct Memory Access). Thanks to the common Hilscher Platform Strategy, all cifX cards use the same drivers and tools regardless of protocol or card format. Hilscher netX technology enables implementation of multiple Real-Time Ethernet protocols on one hardware platform; a protocol is changed by loading different firmware.

Description Details
The CIFX 90E-CO\NHS\F is a Mini PCI Express PC card without heat sink designed for CANopen communication in PC-based automation. Hardware options across the cifX portfolio include different cable lengths, M12 connectors, additional NVRAM, extended temperature ranges, 2-channel cards and detached network interfaces. A broad set of device drivers and a free C-Toolkit are provided to support integration and development.
