The Hilscher CIFX 50E-CC is a PCI Express x1 PC communication card implementing CC-Link Slave functionality. It embeds a netX 100 communication controller and executes the protocol stack autonomously on the card. Process data is exchanged with the host via Dual-Port Memory (DPM) or Direct Memory Access (DMA). Hilscher's netX technology enables different real-time Ethernet protocols on a single hardware platform by loading specific firmware, while drivers and tools remain uniform across protocols and card formats.
