Product Overview
The cifX PC card family provides a unified hardware and software platform for PC-based automation communication. The protocol stack runs autonomously on the card (netX technology) and exchanges process data with the host via Dual-Port-Memory or DMA. All cifX cards share common Hilscher drivers and tools, enabling protocol changes by loading different firmware and simplifying integration across Real-Time Ethernet and Fieldbus systems.
