Description
The CIFX family provides a unified hardware and firmware concept for PC-based automation supporting Real-Time Ethernet and Fieldbus systems. Protocol stacks run autonomously on the card (Hilscher netX technology), while process data is exchanged with the host via Dual-Port-Memory or DMA. Protocols are selectable by loading the appropriate firmware, and all CIFX cards share common drivers and tools to simplify deployment.
