The xiros® polymer ball bearings are single-row grooved ball bearings based on DIN 625. The lubricant-free and maintenance-free ball bearing consists of four components.
- The outer ring
- The inner ring
- The cage
- And the balls
The inner and outer rings are made of igus® tribopolymers to maximize service life and minimize coefficients of friction. In contrast to metallic ball bearings, xiros® polymer ball bearings manage absolutely without lubrication. For this reason they are suited for a multitude of applications that depend not on extreme rotary speeds or loads, but just on lubricant-free application in contrast to permanently lubricated metallic ball bearings. These areas are for example food and medical industries, packaging and textile industries, or the chemical industry and cleanroom applications as well as electronics and office technology.

Sliding Instead of Rolling
DryLin® R linear bearings work through the use of sliding elements, in contrast to the design of recirculating ball bearing systems. In practice, these iglidur® elements made of high performance polymers can be manufactured from all iglidur® materials. Thus, the DryLin® R linear technology has the advantages of all of the different iglidur® bearing materials. iglidur® J is the best material for most linear applications because of its excellent wear and low coefficient of friction. Therefore, DryLin® R linear plain bearings are designed using this material.
The Most Important Properties of DryLin® R Linear Plain Bearings:
- maintenance free
- dirt resistant
- lightweight
- extremely quiet operation
- resistant to corrosion
- high static loading capacity
- resistant to shocks and vibrations
DryLin® R linear plain bearings are designed for dry running. Dirt, dust, and other abrasive media are not drawn into the bearing surface by grease or oils.
In contrast with the recirculating ball bearings, The performance of DryLiny® R bearings is not effected by the length of travel. Therefore, there are no restrictions on minimum stroke length for DryLin® R linear bearings.

deva.tex is a high-performance self-lubricating sliding material with a glass-fibre reinforced carrying layer. The machinable sliding layer consists of fibres which are embedded in epoxy resin. The resin carries PTFE as lubricant for excellent tribological performance.
deva.tex bearings are characterized by a very high corrosion and wear resistance. They are insensitive to contamination as well as to vibrations and shock loads.

New economic self-lubricating bearings made by kinds of resin with additive fibre as base material produced by injection molding machines. The application for high load with lower speed and lower friction request, like automotive industries, lift machineries, copier, OA machines, sports machines, food industries, chemical machines etc. compare with the metal bushes, the weight and cost is much lower. Suite for large production with low cost and short delivery time.

SNR has developed a specific thermoplastic bearing units range offering decisive advantages to the users.
SNR thermoplastic self-aligning bearing units are designed for extreme condition operations, sometimes combining high loads, extreme temperatures, vibrations, corrosion and misalignment. In fact, our bearing units are fitted with seals and deflector baffles, as well as corrosion-resistant, pre-lubricated stainless steel rings and rolling bodies.
All our thermoplastic bearing units are lubricated with USDA H1 standard-approved greases. This standard involves the most stringent requirements in terms of hygiene and purity of the grease constituents or raw materials.
Of white colour PBT design, these bearing units feature a smooth surface preventing dust entrapment or fungus and bacteria development. For lubrication, SNR has designed an odourless, tasteless agri-food-compatible grease, harmless to food products.
