Pulsar™ pulse burst radar transmitters are the latest generation of loop-powered, 24 VDC, level transmitters. It has lower power consumption, faster response time and is easier to use than most loop-powered radar transmitters and can be utilized on virtually all level measurement and control applications.
Application conditions include processes exhibiting varying specific gravity and dielectric, visible vapors, high fill/empty rates, turbulence, low to moderate foam and buildup.
Pulsar features IS, XP and Non-Incendive approvals, HART® digital communications, 5.8 or 6.3 GHz operating frequency and embedded software enabling configuration without the need for another device such as a PC.

Radar measurement technology is non-contacting and low maintenance. Because microwaves require no carrier medium, they are virtually unaffected by the process atmosphere (vapour, pressure, dust or temperature extremes). Siemens Milltronics offers a choice of models to meet the specific needs of your application.

Guided Radar (TDR) Level Meter
for distance, level and volume
of liquids, liquid interface, pastes and solids
OPTIFLEX
works better than any guided radar ever before
In contrast to earlier guided radar devices, the new OPTIFLEX with its more advanced design solutions has higher signal dynamics. Sharper pulses measure thinner interfaces. The very good time base stability allows better reproducibility, which translates to better trustability.

4-wire guided wave radar for small tanks (up to 2000mm)
Measurement is insensitive to ¡V
* Properties of the target Density, conductivity, dielectric constant
* Environmental conditions Pressure, temperature
* Physical obstacles, turbulent target, foam, built-up
* Continuous level measurement AND point level detection (with multiple switching points) in just one device
* Independent of liquid properties and installation conditions
* Ideally suited for small tanks: minimal blocking distance
* Simple single-button-operation/configuration
* No moving parts ¡V maintenance free

Eclipse® transmitters are loop-powered, 24 VDC, level transmitters based upon the revolutionary Guided Wave Radar (GWR) technology and can be utilized on virtually all level measurement and control applications.
Application conditions include processes exhibiting visible vapors, foam, coating or buildup, surface agitation, bubbling or boiling, high fill/empty rates, low level and varying dielectric media or specific gravity.
In addition, Eclipse reliably handles interface level measurement and control applications with a clean distinct interface, including those with changing specific gravities and visible vapors.
Choosing the proper Eclipse probe is the most important decision in the application process. With this in mind, Magnetrol offers 19 probe designs to choose from.
Eclipse features IS, XP and Non-Incendive approvals, optional HART® or Foundation Fieldbus® communications, and quick connect/disconnect probe coupling.
