One of the most popular features on our newest Phantom cameras is an
internal mechanical shutter. It is used to automatically shade the sensor
during a Current Session Reference (CSR). This allows the camera operator to
do a CSR without manually capping the lens.
Because of the overwhelming popularity of this feature, we’ve decided to bring
it to our existing line of V-Series cameras – the v5.2, v7.3, v9.1 and v10.
Everything you need to upgrade your camera and software is included in
the V-Series Lens Shutter Kit: VRI-EXTSHUTTER-F-MOUNT. Or, if you want
Vision Research to do the camera upgrade for you, order VRI-EXTSHUTTER-
F-MOUNT-UPG, and return the camera to us. To have the shutter added to a new camera order, specify the option VRI-EXTSHUTTER-F-MOUNT-OPT.

NFB "fuhrrheydt" roller shutters or roller grills are constructed with horizontally joined profiles made of aluminium and galvanised or stainless steel in single or double sheet version. These doors are coiled on a hollow shaft system by irreversible worm gear drives.
The basics are put together by roller shutters with various profiles, the tracks, the drum, the drive system with the stop brake and the control device. On request these doors are delivered in noise and climate insulated version as well as fire protection doors and bulletproof doors. Windows are available. At the bottom, the doors are sealed with a rubber profile, and at the top with brush sealings.

Melles Griot manufactures state of the art electronic shutters for laboratory and OEM applications. Our IES™-series shutters include an adjustable iris diaphragm, X synchronization, and a "manual actuation" lever that allows the shutter to operate without an electrical signal. Our UltraThin™-series shutters are designed to fit into restricted spaces. In both series, Spring-steel blades with a Teflon-impregnated, black matte finish, coupled with a reliable, multiblade shutter mechanism guarantee high operational speed and near 100% light extinction as well as smooth and dependable operation. Normally closed and normally open blade configurations are available. Rated nominal voltages for standard solenoids are 3-,6-,12-, 24-, and 48-Vdc. Controllers are available for standard 12-V shutters, and our 12-V shutters include a mating cable.
