With their frontal forks and solid base, stackers are used to transport, place and retrieve pallets from storage rackings, in warehouse industries. They can be either manually or electrically operated. Stackers are available in three set-ups for the convenience of the operator: stand-on, sit-on or pedestrian.
Stackers are generally used in warehouse industries to stack and arrange pallets onto storage racking. With numerous models of stackers available (stand-on, sit-on or pedestrian) they are able to adapt to multiple applications.
Available as either manually or electrically operated, the principal technologies rest the same: with frontal forks attached to its mast the stacker can raise and depose its pallet onto and off storage racking. To allow for convenience of stacking they are available with regular legs or straddle legs.
The electric stackers are available as pedestrian, stand-on or sit-on, to suit the operators need. The power of each and the maximum transportable load increases from pedestrian to sit-on, as does the size of the stacker.
The application required needs to be taken into account for the choice of the stacker. The maximum height and weight are important factors, as is the budget.
