DION® 9100-700 is a thixotropic and pre-accelerated Bisphenol-A epoxy based vinyl ester resin. This resin exhibits high water and chemical resistance, particularly towards acids, alkalis and oxidizing agents.
The outstanding all round properties make it particularly suitable for use in Marine/ Swimming Pools as both a skin and bulk laminating resin but also in Industrial production of tanks, process equipment and constructions subjected to high static and dynamic loads.
APPLICATION
The incorporated accelerator system combined with NORPOL PEROXIDE 11 or Butanox LPT minimises foaming and provides relatively short gel times and rapid curing. Recommended laminate thickness applied wet-on-wet is 1-5 mm.
DION® 9100-700/710 is especially formulated for hand lay-up and spray-up requirements and impregnates both glass, carbon and aramid fibres rapidly.

Ashland Inc. DERAKANE* 8084 epoxy vinyl ester resin is an elastomer modified resin designed to offer increased adhesive strength, superior resistance to abrasion and severe mechanical stress, while giving greater toughness and elongation.
This resin is often used for example as a primer to prepare a substrate surface (steel or concrete) for application of a corrosion resistant lining. The superior elongation and toughness provide FRP equipment with better impact resistance and less cracking due to cyclic temperature, pressure fluctuations and mechanical shocks.
This resin has exhibited chemical resistance across a broad range of acids, bases and organic chemicals for use in many chemical processing industry applications.
* Trademark of Ashland Inc.

Poliya Polives range vinylester resins have high performance effects on composite part manufacturing.
Polives vinylester resins have ultimate chemical resistance and mechanical properties because of their chemical structure.
The special structure of Polives vinyl esters disable the hydrolyze of ester groups and enable the full curing of edges of the chain. That's why Polives vinyl esters are showing great resistance to base, alkali and acidic environments.
Besides, the curing of edges of the chains provide ultimate elongation and flexibility at high HDT values results in advanced toughness
