The new Meteo - Multisensor type FMA 510 was made for measurement of air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, duration of rainfall and rain intensity. The sensor is easy adaptable to all ALMEMO dataloggers from AHLBORN. Due to its low power consumtion the sensor is suitable for stationary as well as for mobile professional weather stations.
The Vaisala Weather Professional transmitter WXT510 offers a full set of sensors in one instrument, enabling you to easily set up a professional weather station. It measures wind speed and direction, liquid precipitation, barometric pressure, temperature and relative humidity — all in one instrument.
The WXT510 is compact, durable, simple to install and easy to integrate. As the instrument has no moving parts, it requires little to no maintenance. The WXT510 provides unparalleled flexibility due to its various options - opening new possibilities for weather measurement.
The wind measurement is based on the advanced ultrasonic Vaisala WINDCAP® Sensor. It measures both horizontal wind speed and direction using a Vaisala patented array of three equally spaced ultrasonic sensors. This design ensures accurate wind measurement from all wind directions without blind angles or corrupted readings.
The precipitation measurement in the WXT510 is based on the new Vaisala RAINCAP® Sensor. Compared to traditional precipitation gauges, the sensor gives more detailed information about precipitation.
The WXT510 measures accumulated rain fall, rain intensity and duration — all in real time. The Vaisala RAINCAP® Sensor is the only maintenance-free precipitation sensor on the market.
