Universal coating thickness gauge working on the coulometic principle to measure virtually all types of electroplated single or multilayer coatings such as chrome, nickel, cadmium, brass, silver, tin and zinc on metal or non-metal substrates.
This technique simply involves the removal of a small, almost invisible area of coating material. The substrate itself is not affected.
More than 70 combinations of coating and substrate can be measured with the standard equipment.
Measuring range: 0,05... 75 µm
Statistical evaluation with display of mean value, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, number of readings, highest and lowest single reading.
