Description

FUTEK’s TRD605 Square-Drive Rotary Torque Sensor with Encoder features a square-drive mounting solution with torque measurements ranging from ± 12 Nm to 1000 Nm (± 106 in-lb to 8851 in-lb) and a torsional stiffness of 1200 Nm/rad to 127000 Nm/rad. The TRD605 utilizes metal foil strain gauge technology and features non-contact signal transmission allowing the sensor to operate at up to 7000 RPM.

The TRD605 features a pair of built-in rotary encoders, ideal for measuring shaft speed and position. The TRD605 contains an internal amplifier allowing the torque transducer to generate a ±5 VDC output. Applications for the TRD605 include power tool and bolt auditing, engine testing for automotive and aerospace, and industrial testing apparatuses.
