Complete processing of laminated girders, solid wood panels and other panels

With the PBA it is possible to process large parts such as walls, ceilings or ceiling members rationally accurate to the millimetre. The individual equipment of the machine according to customer requirements permits the processing of most diverse materials, e.g. solid wood, laminated girders, laminated timber, multi-layer panels and sandwich elements.

Due to the large traverse paths of the PBA, parts of any length, up to 8 m wide and 48 cm thick can be processed on 5 sides. The 5-axis gantry is equipped with up to 6 tools, with which any longitudinal, bevelled and diagonal cuts can be sawed, openings of any shape and size can be milled and blind or through holes can be drilled - all processings without tool change - whereby the parts can be produced very fast.

The work area of the machine can be subdivided so that the machine operator can load a part of the machine, while the gantry automatically processes a workpiece in another part. Clamping of the workpiece is not necessary due to the special supporting tables and the design. The software includes an interface for accepting processing data from commercially available CAD programs. The machine operator can also enter or modify all operations directly on the machine. For that purpose, an easy to understand graphic user interface is available.

The units of the PBA can be equipped with most diverse tools, e.g. dovetail mills, routers, side milling and profile milling cutters. Thanks to the freely programmable paths of all tools, there are extremely diverse processing options.
