Overview
The Hundegger PBA-X gantry system combines a modular machine concept with high‑performance drives to provide precise CNC processing for CLT and glulam components. With dedicated 5‑axis and 3‑axis units and CAMBIUM® multi-panel support, the PBA‑X processes panels and beams of varying sections in efficient production lots with reduced waste.

Multi-machining

Machine cabin / Main Unit / Tooling
The gantry and tool carriers travel in X and Y on precision linear guides, ensuring a rigid connection between the tool frame and rail transport. Tool-change system with a basic magazine up to 50 tool slots; the 5‑axis unit machines all six faces with continuously adjustable spindle speed.

Automation / Smart dynamic processing tables
Processing tables are available as stationary systems with quick‑clamp movable supports, driven roller tables for automatic infeed/ejection, and vacuum tabletops that lift panels up to 400 mm. Smart vacuum pod lowering allows multiple machining operations in a single clamping.
