KMT presents VZ series rack-and-pinion presses with square ram. When compared to the round ram, the square ram has several advantages. It offers absolute torsion resistance. Pressram moves in a play-free fashion. The square ram has adjustable jb strips. It has a wide support surface for the tool. This eliminates the need for tool guides. The operation is entirely free of maintenance. The presses have added standard equipment. A threaded spindle is used for adjusting the height of the press head. Measuring strip is located in side for repeatably precise setting of press head. Regular accessories can also be attached to these models. Rack-and pinion presses with square rams are an ideal choice for manufacturing of small and medium batches of high precision, small parts with narrow tolerances. In such cases, automation is not affordable.
