The EP/EPX 40 linear units feature higher precision and lower tolerances of the mounting surfaces, and these units are suitable to use for the occasional or frequent movement and positioning of medium to high loads in any assembly position. The units feature robust twin tubes that compensate for the high bending moments typical to manual and motor-driven adjustments, and the devices are compatible with earlier models. The units utilize a new lead nut design that enables the simple replacement of the nut in the even of wear and tear, and users will not need to dismantle the linear actuator to access the component. The EP/EPX 40 linear units also utilize a new optional spindle lock on the carriage that will prevent inadvertent shifting of the carriage.
