Disc Bottom Outlet Valves are widely used in the Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and related industries. They are used to drain vessels, tanks and pipelines. Invented by SchuF in 1923, they are today available as a disc rising and disc lowering variants. Disc valves have a shorter lenght than Piston or Ram valves and are therefore ideal where space is limited or weight is a concern.

SchuF Disc Bottom Outlet valves are available with many options including:
Dead space free fitting, Crust breaking, Disk grinding, CIP - clean in place, GMP, integrated sampling and flushing, fire safe and many different types of materials and sealing arrangements.

Disc Bottom Outlet valves are available from 1" to 18" as standard with 54°, 60° or 90° outlet angle.
