Maximum range for liquids is 8 meters (26'). Exhibits a small dead zone of 15 cm (6"). Volume is reported in Liters (Gallons) for cubical and cylindrical shaped tanks.
- Main features
Output from Gauger485 is serial character based protocol over RS485 wires. Integral graphic display and keypad or cost-effective model without the display and keypad. Sensor material is PVDF - excellent solution in presence of highly aggressive chemicals. Input power is 10.8-33 VDC. Supports a USB port (device side) for configuration of the system, for local monitoring and for firmware upgrades.
- Remote monitoring advantages
A perfect solution for remote monitoring applications where the level meter interfaces an external modem. The use of serial ASCII string output is both simple and much more reliable and accurate than 4-20 analog interfaces. Can interface modems and PLC that accept characterts /RS485.
