Ultrasonic area velocity flow-meter with data-logger
4110
Teledyne Isco
The 4110 Ultrasonic Flow Logger provides non-contact measurement of the flow over a weir or in a flume. The ultrasonic sensor is mounted above the flow stream, and transmits a sound pulse that is reflected by the liquid surface. Elapsed time between sending a pulse and receiving an echo determines the level in the channel. The 4110 calculates the flow from this level reading and its built in conversion for the specified primary device. Automatic compensation for air temperature ensures measurement accuracy.
Because its sensor does not contact the liquid, the 4110 provides long-term dependability with no scheduled maintenance. The Isco 4110 is not affected by chemicals or high concentrations of grease, suspended solids or silt in the flow.
All setup of the flow logger is performed using Flowlink Software. You can retrieve stored data on-site with a laptop PC or an Isco 581 Rapid Transfer Device. Isco Flowlink Software produces a variety of informative graphs and reports from stored data.
