Significant product features are the compact design with intermediate flange, easy cleanability of the leakage cavity and the valve disc due to its hygienic design and high-grade surface finish as well as low switching losses caused by an extremely small leakage cavity.
Two leakage connections serve medium draining after switchover, and also enable leakage indication and leakage cavity flushing when needed.
Sealing materials used are EPDM and FKM, these are FDA-conform, have a low switching moment and are low wear and vacuum resistant.
Due to the modular design of the T-smart leakage-proof valves, identical actuators of the
T-smart series can be used and changing from manual to pneumatic actuation is possible without any problem.
